Deadman Spring Outfitters is a family owned and operated business local to New Mexico. With over 20 years of experience in providing quality big game hunting all over the state of New Mexico. We offer fully guided hunts with comfortable lodging, home-cooked meals, and professional guides who know the area and the game. We also provide all the necessary equipment, transportation, and trophy care of your animal. DMSO can accommodate any type of hunter, whether you prefer archery, rifle, or muzzleloader.
Hunts
DMSO can enter you in the New Mexico Game and Fish online draw for FREE! Our free application service for NM Game and Fish big game draw hunts ensures a hassle-free experience for our clients. To use this service, each hunter must provide a signed hunt contract. This streamlined process helps hunters focus on their passion for the hunt, while we handle the administrative tasks of applying for your hunt choices.
In New Mexico, the 10% outfitter pool is a special allocation of hunting tags for non-resident hunters who book their hunts through a registered outfitter. Here's a brief summary:

Tag Allocation: Out of the total hunting tags available in a unit, 10% are reserved for non-resident hunters who use a registered outfitter.

Increased Odds: By applying through an outfitter, non-resident hunters have a higher chance of drawing a tag compared to the general non-resident pool, which only gets 6% of the tags.

Requirements: Hunters must contract with a registered outfitter for a minimum of two days if they are drawn.

Application Process: Hunters can apply singly or in groups, and the draw considers the hunter's top three choices before moving on to the next applicant.
